Christine Waterbury (Chris), the team leader at Connections Event Group, is a native New Yorker whose passion for event planning began with inspiration from her mother's seemingly effortless and elegant entertaining style. Chris began her event journey by helping with school events, local charity functions and a few select weddings. She then went on to lead Connections Unlimited, a New York based Destination Management Company (DMC) for twenty years.​

Driven by her passion for bringing people together through creative event design and unparalleled hospitality, Chris reimagined the company as Connections Event Group, focusing exclusively on event design, planning and management.
With a creative spirit, expert planning and meticulous attention to detail, Chris has designed and produced hundreds of exceptional guest experiences - from grand appreciation galas and milestone celebrations to intimate C-suite gatherings, team adventures, backyard soirees and beyond. She is committed to flawlessly managing every aspect of your event from the big picture to the smallest details, while working with the team to navigate complex logistics and thoughtfully incorporate personal touches that reflect your personality and vision.
